How Much Does Youth Flag Football Cost in Pittsburgh? Spring 2027 Pricing, Payment Plans and Grants
Updated: 8 hours ago
How much does youth flag football cost in Pittsburgh, and what are the ways to pay? Here is a plain-English breakdown of Spring 2027 pricing at Pittsburgh National League (PNL), including the first-50 early bird, payment plans and the NFL FLAG Grant.
Spring 2027 price
Registration for every Spring 2027 player division is $145. That includes a jersey and a flag belt for every player. It applies at all four locations: Penn Hills, Boyce Park, Swissvale and Mellon Park in Pittsburgh.
The first-50 early bird: $135
The first 50 players registered across all four PNL locations pay $135 instead of $145. The early bird is shared league-wide, so it ends as soon as the 50th player registers, no matter which location they choose. The discount is applied at checkout while spots remain.
Payment plans: $45 to start
Families can pay in full or choose a payment plan at checkout:
Monthly plan: $45 at registration, then 2 monthly payments.
Biweekly plan: $45 at registration, then 2 payments every 2 weeks.
Every balance must be paid in full by March 31, 2027 for the player to receive a jersey and be eligible to play.
The NFL FLAG Grant
No child should sit out because of cost. The RCX Sports Foundation NFL FLAG Fund helps eligible families pay for NFL FLAG registration. Families with a household income under $83,730 whose player is enrolled in Medicaid, SNAP or WIC can apply. A parent or guardian applies directly with RCX Sports, and approved funds are sent to PNL.
Apply at least three weeks before registration closes, by March 10, 2027. Apply for the NFL FLAG Grant. You can also read about free and low-cost flag football options at PNL.
