Every Saturday in season, multiple fields at Linton run back to back games. It is where playoffs, All-Star Weekend and championship games are played, and where most PNL families start. PNL has served Western Pennsylvania since 2004 and is the only league in Pennsylvania named NFL FLAG League of the Year.

Why families play in Penn Hills

  • Rookie, coed and girls in one place. Siblings of different ages and girls can all play the same day
  • The only PNL home of the Rookie League, the All-Girls League and High School Girls
  • Home of the PNL playoffs, All-Star Weekend and Honors Ceremony
  • Live scores, stats and a league record book in PNL GameDay

Youth flag football for Penn Hills and the eastern suburbs

Linton Middle School is the closest PNL field for families in Penn Hills, Verona, Oakmont, Churchill and Wilkins Township, and a short trip for families in Monroeville, Plum, Pitcairn and Harmar. Because the Rookie League and the All-Girls League play only here, families from every PNL community come to Linton on Saturdays.

Monroeville families have two choices: Saturdays here at Linton, or Sundays at Boyce Park. Families in Wilkinsburg, Forest Hills and Edgewood can also play Thursday nights at our Swissvale field.

Apply for the NFL FLAG Grant

Families with a household income under $83,730 whose player is enrolled in Medicaid, SNAP or WIC can apply. A parent or guardian applies directly with RCX Sports, and approved funds are sent to PNL. Apply at least 3 weeks before registration closes (by March 10, 2027).
