The Ultimate Flag Football Training Program
PNL Academy provides youth flag football training in Pittsburgh and is built for athletes ages 8-17 who want to sharpen their skills during the off-season and come back better, faster, stronger, and more confident when the season starts.
This is where flag football players train with purpose. Whether your athlete plays quarterback, wide receiver, running back, rusher, defensive back, center, or safety, PNL Academy focuses on the skills every position needs to compete at a higher level.
Athletes will work on speed, agility, footwork, route running, catching, throwing mechanics, flag pulling, defensive movement, reaction time, football IQ, and overall confidence on the field.
Our goal is simple: help every player improve their game, understand their position, and be ready to perform when it matters most.
Train. Compete. Develop. Be ready for the season.

Built for Every Position

Quarterbacks, receivers, running backs, centers, rushers, defensive backs, and safeties all need different skills, but every great player needs speed, confidence, footwork, awareness, and football IQ.
What We Train

Quarterback Development
Quarterbacks train throwing mechanics, footwork, accuracy, timing, decision-making, reading defenses, and leadership. Athletes learn how to control the offense, deliver the ball on time, and make smart plays under pressure.
Speed & Agility
Athletes work on acceleration, quick cuts, balance, change of direction, reaction time, and explosive movement. This training helps players separate on offense and close space on defense.
Route Running & Catching
Players learn how to run sharper routes, create separation, attack the football, catch with confidence, and finish plays. This is built for receivers, running backs, centers, and any athlete who wants the ball in their hands.
Defense & Flag Pulling
Defenders train pursuit angles, breakdown technique, hip movement, reaction time, coverage skills, and open-field flag pulling. The goal is to help athletes become confident, disciplined defenders.

Meet Coach Justin
PNL Academy is proud to welcome Coach Justin Sliwoski to help lead our quarterback development program.
Coach Justin brings real quarterback experience, high-level football knowledge, and a passion for helping young athletes grow. A former standout quarterback from Hempfield Area, Justin finished his high school career as Hempfield’s all-time leader in passing yards, passing touchdowns, and completions before continuing his football career at the University of Pittsburgh and Saint Francis University.
During his college career, Justin gained valuable experience as a quarterback, leader, and student of the game. He was recognized as a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection and NEC Prime Performer while competing at Saint Francis.
Justin also had the opportunity to attend the prestigious Manning Passing Academy in Louisiana, one of the top quarterback and offensive skill camps in the country. That experience allowed him to learn in an elite football environment connected to Archie, Peyton, Eli, and Cooper Manning, while being around some of the best quarterbacks and coaches in the game.
At PNL Academy, Coach Justin will work with quarterbacks on the skills that matter most in flag football: throwing mechanics, footwork, accuracy, timing, decision-making, reading defenses, leadership, and confidence.
His goal is simple: help young quarterbacks understand the game, lead their offense, and step into the season ready to perform.
Train with Coach Justin. Lead the offense. Become the quarterback your team can trust.
Quarterback Development
The quarterback position is one of the most important positions in flag football. At PNL Academy, quarterbacks learn how to lead the offense, make smart decisions, throw with confidence, and understand the game at a higher level.
Our QB training focuses on more than just throwing the football. We teach athletes how to control the huddle, read the defense, move with purpose, deliver the ball on time, and become leaders on the field.
PNL QUARTERBACK ACADEMY

Leadership & Confidence
Commanding the offense, communicating with teammates, staying calm, and becoming the player the team trusts.

Accuracy & Timing
Hitting receivers in stride, throwing before the break, and building rhythm with routes.

Reading Defenses & Decision-making
Understanding man coverage, zone coverage, blitz looks, open space, and where the ball should go.

Throwing Mechanics
Grip, balance, release, accuracy, and follow-through.

Footwork & Movement Cardio
Quick feet, clean drops, resetting the body, escaping pressure, and throwing on the move.

Arm Strength & Throwing Power
Quarterbacks will learn how to generate power the right way by using their legs, hips, core, shoulders, and throwing motion together. This helps athletes throw with more velocity, better distance, and less strain on the arm.
Train like a QB. Lead like a QB. Play like a QB
