Draft night at Pittsburgh NFL League is unlike anything else in Pittsburgh youth sports. It is loud, competitive, and full of the kind of energy that reminds everyone why they love this game.
When and Where Is the PNL Live Draft?
Friday April 17th at Linton Middle School, 250 Aster Street, Pittsburgh PA 15235. This is the night every registered player across all divisions gets assigned to a team.
How the Draft Works
Coaches take turns selecting players from the registered pool within their division. Every registered player gets selected. No undrafted players, no cuts. Players who attended training camp have an advantage since coaches have seen them play.
What About Team Codes?
Team codes are only for players who are already on an existing team and want to stay together. Not available to new players. Team code info for returning teams is distributed after the April 17th draft.
After the Draft: What Happens Next
Coaches connect with families after the draft and set their own weekly practice day. Games begin Saturday April 18th. Season runs through the Championship on June 6th.
