Monroeville families looking for quality youth flag football do not have to go far. Pittsburgh NFL League has two convenient locations serving the Monroeville area, and both are accessible for families in the Gateway School District and surrounding communities. Whether you are closer to Penn Hills or out toward Plum and Murrysville, PNL has a home for your child this spring.

Two Locations Close to Monroeville

Our Penn Hills location at Linton Middle School, 250 Aster Street, Pittsburgh PA 15235, is the closest option for most Monroeville families. Saturday games run here from April through June, and this is where our training camp, PNL Live Draft, playoffs, and championship are all held. Penn Hills and Monroeville share a border, and the drive is straightforward.

Our Boyce Park location at the Boyce Park Soccer Fields on Pierson Run Road in Plum PA 15239 offers Sunday afternoon games starting April 20th. For Monroeville families closer to the eastern side of the municipality or in the Patton Township area, Boyce Park is a great option. Sunday games run from 2PM to 4PM and the setting at Boyce Park is excellent for families who enjoy an outdoor game day environment.

What Pittsburgh NFL League Offers Monroeville Families

Pittsburgh NFL League is the 2024 NFL FLAG League of the Year. We have been running flag football programs in Western Pennsylvania since 2004. What sets us apart from recreation league options is the structure and the level of competition. We run a live draft where coaches select players and build rosters. We have a full regular season, playoffs, and a championship game. Kids know what it means to have a team, represent a coach, and compete for something.

Our divisions cover ages 4 through high school. Rookie League is for ages 4 to 6. Coed Divisions run from ages 7 through 14. All-Girls Divisions serve players from ages 7 through high school. Player placement is based on your child's age as of August 1, 2025 for the 2026 spring season.

Spring 2026 Key Dates

Training camp begins April 4th with four total sessions running through April 16th. The PNL Live Draft is Friday, April 17th at Linton Middle School. First games at Penn Hills are Saturday, April 18th. First games at Boyce Park are Sunday, April 20th. The optional Pittsburgh Steelers Regional Tournament is April 25th. Playoffs and the season championship are Saturday, June 6th.

A National Connection Right Here in Western PA

Pittsburgh NFL League is an official NFL FLAG affiliate, which means our players compete within the national NFL FLAG system. Top teams from our league can qualify for the Pittsburgh Steelers Regional Tournament and, from there, earn a spot at the NFL FLAG National Championships. Our Boyce Park Jets 8U team proved it is possible when they won the New York Jets NFL FLAG Regional in 2025 and advanced to the national championships in Indianapolis.

That kind of competitive pathway is rare in youth sports. Monroeville families who register their child with Pittsburgh NFL League are not just signing up for a local rec league. They are plugging into a nationally recognized program with a real development track.

Financial Assistance Available

Pittsburgh NFL League believes every child deserves access regardless of financial situation. Through our partnership with the NFL FLAG Grant program, families may qualify for up to $100 toward registration. Apply first at www.pittsburghnflleague.com/nflflagfunds. If a family is not approved for the grant, PNL has its own internal financial assistance program as a second option. Reach out and we will work something out.
