Families in Swissvale, Edgewood, Regent Square, and Squirrel Hill East are just a short drive from Pittsburgh NFL League's Penn Hills home at Linton Middle School. PNL is the 2024 NFL FLAG League of the Year and an official NFL FLAG affiliate that has served Western Pennsylvania since 2004. If you are looking for structured, competitive youth flag football for your child this spring, registration for the 2026 season is open now.

Where East Pittsburgh Players Play

Linton Middle School, 250 Aster St, Penn Hills PA 15235 is the primary home of Pittsburgh NFL League. It hosts Rookie League, All-Girls, and all Coed divisions on Saturday mornings and afternoons. For families in Swissvale and Edgewood, Penn Hills is typically the closest option. Boyce Park in Plum is also reachable for Coed Division players and gives families a Sunday game option.

Divisions at Penn Hills

Rookie League for ages 4-6, Coed Division for boys and girls ages 7-14, and All-Girls Division for ages 7-17 all play at the Penn Hills location. Division placement is based on your child's age as of August 1, 2025. PNL has served players at every level of development and the program is designed to meet kids where they are, from first-time players to those who have been competing for years.

Spring 2026 Key Dates

Training camp runs in April at Linton Middle School with Saturday and weekday evening sessions. The PNL Live Draft is Friday April 17th at Linton. First games are Saturday April 18th. The Pittsburgh Steelers NFL FLAG Regional Tournament is April 25th for qualifying teams. Playoffs and the championship are June 6th. That is a full, meaningful season built around the schedule of busy Pittsburgh families.

What Makes PNL Different

Pittsburgh NFL League is not a pickup game or a Saturday recreation program. It is a structured, competitive league with real coaches, a live draft, weekly practices, and a championship. Players wear jerseys, compete in divisions based on age, and progress through a season with genuine stakes. The league has operated continuously since 2004 and was recognized nationally in 2024 as the top NFL FLAG affiliate in the country.

Financial Assistance Is Available

If registration cost is a concern, Pittsburgh NFL League has two options. Families can apply for NFL FLAG grant funding first at pittsburghnflleague.com/nflflagfunds. If the grant does not cover your situation, PNL has its own internal financial assistance program. No child in the Pittsburgh area should miss flag football because of cost. Contact info@pittsburghnflleague.com or call 412-513-5463 to start that conversation.
