We are a Pittsburgh based coed NFL flag football league, focused on teaching fundamentals, safety, and overall fun.

Welcome to the #1 Rated Flag Football League in Pittsburgh!!!

We will be hosting our 13th year (25th Season) of Coed Flag Football starting April 6, 2019.  Our children's ages are 5-13.  We offer a spring session and a fall session.  Our fall season starts August 3, 2019.  The season includes 3 weeks of training camp, the PNL Annual Draft, 1 pre-season game, 12 regular season games, All-Star Weekend, and the playoffs start November 21, 2019. We only have a limited number of spots available, so register today so you don't miss out on all the fun.

The Pittsburgh NFL Flag Football League is the first league to ever create a 5K Community Race for the local residents to focus on raising awareness on childhood obesity and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.   It's something we always remind our players of, but this is a way we can send our message to the entire community.  Join us August 5th, 2017 for our 5K neighborhood stroll.

Meet the Commissioner

Erik Cooper has been involved with the Pittsburgh NFL League for 14 years and has been the Commissioner for the last 8. As becoming Commissioner, he has grown the league from the beginning, with 4 teams, to we have over 18 teams.

Personal Goals: I want to make the Pittsburgh NFL League, not just the best football league, but the best sports league in Pittsburgh. I want the players to learn the game of football in a safe and fun environment. I want the players to grow just not as athletes, but into better people where they can take some lessons learned in football and carry that over into other aspects of their life. I also want to be a positive male role model to all of the children and families.
